Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Fourteenth Colony Lighting was founded by Jimmie Graham with one principle in mind- to make only the best. Since its inception in 1982, the business has grown from a five-room house on Cooper Street with just two employees to a 32,000 square-foot facility that's home to 45 skilled craftsmen.

For nearly 25 years, Fourteenth Colony Lighting has placed lanterns and chandeliers in homes and buildings across the country, including Williamsburg-style chandeliers that hang today in the Capitol Building in Washington D.C.

Fourteenth Colony Lighting offers traditionally handcrafted lanterns and chandeliers in a variety of historic and contemporary styles. Our light fixtures are entirely hand made by the tinsmiths and blacksmiths who train and work in our shop. No structural component in or on any of our lights is imported. We are one of the last lighting manufacturers to actually employ traditional metalsmithing techniques in our fabrication process from start to finish. This commitment to craft results in copper, brass, and forged steel lighting fixtures that are of the best possible structural and aesthetic integrity and the finest to be found in the lighting industry today.
